Experience: With over 30 years of experience in the Early Childhood field I have taught in several local Pre-Schools and when I lived in the Bayside area led teaching teams in Langwarrin and Aspendale for 18 years.
I have a great passion for Early Childhood Education and one of my aims is to encourage children to explore and learn with enthusiasm, excitement, wonder and curiosity. I believe I create a happy, caring and fun environment where relationships with children, educators and families are warm, respectful and meaningful. I love to engage children in music and dance, outdoor play and many dramatic play opportunities as the home corner can change into a restaurant, camping area, vet, hospital, space station, police station or whatever relates to the children’s interests at any given time.
Interests: Spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, going to the beach and walking Ziggy, my mini schnauzer. My partner and I love to go away in our caravan; our favourite destinations being Moruya, Eden, Marlo and Cape Paterson.
