🎨 Learning Through Clay

Children will explore the art of clay, watch a professional potter at work, and create their own unique pieces to take home. This hands-on experience helps develop fine motor skills, creativity, and sensory awareness while introducing clay-shaping techniques in a fun, tactile way.

🌟 What to Expect:

  • Where Does Clay Come From? – A fun and interactive discussion on the origins and uses of clay.
  • Potter’s Wheel Demonstration – Watch a professional potter with 40+ years of experience showcase the art of pottery.
  • Hands-On Creativity – Each child gets their own clay and tools to shape their creation.
  • Potter’s Wheel Experience – A brief supervised turn on the wheel (great photo opportunity!).

📌 Important Reminders:

  • Remove jewellery (including watches).
  • Tie back long hair.
  • Educators will assist with supervision.

This experience aligns with VEYLDF (Wellbeing, Learning & Communication) and the National Framework (Quality Areas 1 & 6).
